There are different ways to integrate after a regression, a Between Lives session, a soul reading or a workshop. Which one suits you depends on your personality and on how you integrate life. This one may or may not resonate with you.
For me personally, I need to withdraw to integrate. I need to be completely on my own, best in nature and in silence.
Life gives us opportunities to grow, and sometimes we have very inspiring moments. It is as if we are learning something, but it cannot quite reach deep into us until we are still enough for it to truly come to us.
When your cup is too full
Artists will follow me most easily here. You know the feeling when you have had many, many ideas for a new project, but you haven't really started yet. There is a moment when your cup is too full, and you know you just need to pick up that first paintbrush, take that first piece of clay in your hands, play that first note.
Integration is exactly the same. You have been filled up with life, with creativity, with knowledge and wisdom, and there is a moment when you know you just need to be still.
This is not about a catharsis or an emotional release. You may already have done that part, in a regression for example. This is about integration.
Who this practice is for
To do it, you need a certain ability to feel into yourself, into your emotions and especially your energetic body, and a sense of how filled up you are with impressions and new ideas. Emotions matter, because they are often the doorway to the energetic body, but this practice works with the energetic body itself.
If you think you don't feel your energy body, please try anyway. I say "think" on purpose, because I know we all feel it. Sometimes the brain simply hasn't translated it yet. It is like a foreign language we don't speak yet, and with intention, awareness and curiosity we can learn it quite easily.
In energy terms you could call this a practice for people who are not complete beginners. That is no judgement. We are all beginners over and over again, and all advanced over and over again. There isn't even a beginning to the process, only the beginning of our awareness of it.
A word on stillness and meditation
If you already have a regular stillness or meditation practice, that does not automatically help here, because you are used to being still in your own way. Some people meditate to leave the body and connect with the spirit world. Others meditate to be fully in the body and feel their tensions and emotions. Very different ways, and none of them wrong.
Whatever your practice is, set the intention that your next stillness is for this integration. Otherwise you will use the space the way you always do. And if you have no stillness practice, I am not asking you to start meditating. I am asking you to be still, so the process can happen.
The integration process, step by step
Create a safe space. Sit, lie on your bed, sit cross-legged, whatever is comfortable. There is no need for a yoga posture. Make sure you are not disturbed, there is no music, and you don't need to go anywhere.
Come to stillness with the intention to integrate what you have just lived.
Bring the last thought and feeling to your awareness. The last important thought, the feeling that went with it, the moment you knew you were in a higher frequency, in your head and in your energy field, and that you were learning something important. It won't be a clear picture yet; that is why you are integrating. Take the thought, the image or the feeling.
Breathe that higher frequency, and watch what happens. Depending on whether you are more visual, more kinaesthetic or more of a knower, the process will show itself to you. For me it is a mix of all three: I see it, I feel it and I know what is happening. And I just breathe.
Push through to the light. There is usually some tension or denseness in it, a burning, a transmutation. If you keep breathing, you come through into the light, and there is a full realisation on all levels: you feel it, you see it, you understand it.
Look for the spark of joy. Imagine you have just won the lottery. There is often a little jump in your stomach, an "oh my God" moment, and your frequency rises even more, this time without trying. If there is no spark of joy yet, you are not quite through.
Stay with it. Breathe, smile into it, for as long as you need.
Take it into your life
Once the integration is done, you won't forget it. It is too deep and too full. But if you get up and start running again, you may lose it. So if your life is busy right now, write it down so you can read it again in the evening, with the thoughts, the emotions and the understandings, not only an intellectual summary.
If you have some space in your day, you don't need to write anything. Simply take this energy into whatever comes next. A couple of times a day, put yourself back into the vibration you felt when it transformed.
All our soul growth happens here, in a physical body. This is not wisdom that stays up in the clouds; it is grounded, practical, and there will be a situation, very likely very soon, where what you have just understood can be applied. You can wait for it, or, still in that state, imagine future situations, or even walk into one on purpose. That is what I did after my last integration. And it was so easy. Once something is fully integrated, there is no resistance. It takes no energy from you; it actually gives you energy.
And that is an integration process complete. Have fun with it and enjoy.
