The book that changes lives - Dr. Brian L. Weiss

Dr. Brian Weiss is an American psychiatrist and author who specializes in past-life regression therapy. He is a graduate of Columbia University and Yale Medical School and is a former chairman of the Department of Psychiatry at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami, Florida. He has been in private practice for over 30 years, and has written several books on the subject of past-life regression therapy, including "Many Lives, Many Masters" and "Mirrors of Time." Dr. Weiss is also a frequent speaker on the topic of past-life regression therapy and has appeared on various television and radio programs. He is considered a pioneer in the field of past-life regression therapy and his work has been featured in many popular media outlets.

In 1988 he wrote the New York Times bestseller “Many Lives Many Masters”. The book describes his experiences with a patient named Catherine, who, under hypnosis, suddenly recalled past life memories and the events that led to her current emotional and physical issues. Through her past life regressions, Dr. Weiss helps Catherine understand and heal from her past traumas. He realised that by working with her in her past lives as he would with her in her current life, the issues she was occuring in current life were solved! Where as before, when he would work in the traditional way, it took years for an issue to get better and it would come back again…

The book also explores the idea of reincarnation and the concept of the soul. It's a personal account of the author's work with a patient and also a guide to past life regression therapy.
Today, regression therapy is recognized by many institutions, in the UK, regression therapists certified by the Past Life Regression Academy®, can be reimbursed by the complementary natural health insurances. Not yet in Switzerland, where I practice, but Switzerland always takes many years longer to adapt, as we all know.

When I read Dr. Brian L. Weiss’s book I was totally mesmerized. Everything he said made just so much sense to me. It was before I started my training as a Regression Therapist and he definitely was a huge influence on me starting to trust hypnosis and consider this type of therapy. And no surprise, a lot of my clients come to me because they have read that book. It seems to resonate with those of us, that need to dive deeper into their subconscious. As if the subconscious is calling us to listen, to feel, go to inside with the intent to heal and transform and live this lifetime in the current now fully empowered, happy and free.

I wish that for every soul living on this planet at this moment - and if I can be of help doing so, then even better.

With Love,

Sonia
